A family heirloom, as good as Gold
Hello there! We suppose you're reading this because you're holding onto a jar of the family heirloom, RedGold. Don't put it down — this stuff is better than digging for gold. And may we caution you: it is more than a little bit addictive.
Our family recipe started as a seasonal appetizer to share among family and friends. We didn't have a name for it; we just called it pepper jelly. Then one day, a friend's son declared it "as good as Gold" — and the name RedGold was born! Red for its color, and gold for its goodness (and its addictiveness).
As time passed, more and more friends asked for RedGold as holiday gifts, then as anytime gifts, and RedGold began its venture. With the help of friends and family, we designed a label and jar that would be flashy and classy enough to attract loyal customers like you.
Our aim is to keep the same quality that made RedGold a success in the first place. We hope you enjoy it, and keep sharing it and giving it as gifts, the way we have over the years.

Today RedGold is made by family in two kitchens — one in Tampa, Florida and one in Massachusetts — from the same recipe, in the same small batches.
Each kitchen fills orders in its own state, so your jar comes from family close to home.
